Levels follow the Old School RuneScape XP curve, capped at 30 for now. Your rank comes from your average level across every skill (see Ranks).

Mining

Dig ore on trips. Ore is smelted into bars for tools, weapons and armour.

Cooking

Turn raw fish and the meat animals drop into food. Better food heals more.

Combat

Levels from every fight, on Slayer trips and against bosses. A higher Combat level means more HP, Attack, Defence and Speed.

Levels from finished Slayer tasks. It unlocks tougher monsters, and tasks earn Slayer points to spend on unlocks.

Catching up

If you're behind the server's typical level in a skill, you earn bonus XP in it: up to +50% when you're 5 or more levels behind, less as you close in. It counts players active in the last 14 days, once at least 3 have a level in that skill.
